FAQs: Listing / Selling with Timeshare Liquidators
Timeshare Liquidators strongly disagrees with the practice of requiring up-front fees to list timeshares. Therefore we never have, and never will, charge any upfront fees to list your timeshare. We receive our commission only after your timeshare has been sold and has cleared escrow.
Our commission is a flat fee of $1,500 or 20% of the sale price, whichever is more.
We have a non-exclusive listing agreement so no contract is needed. You are free to list anywhere else you like. We will contact you if we have an interested buyer to verify that you still wish to sell the property.
Generally, the buyer pays the closing costs. However, all transactions are open to negotiation.
In order to sell your timeshare, you must be realistic about the amount your timeshare is worth on the resale market. Generally, timeshares are sold on the resale market for between 40-70% of the original developer price.

Because we charge no upfront fees to cover listing and advertising your timeshare and do not require you to pay for an expensive appraisal, we make nothing until your timeshare is sold. Consequently, we make it a point to know the market for selling your timeshare, a price that will bring you a fair price while at the same time attracting the attention of potential buyers. In a nutshell, our sole motivation is to get your timeshare sold, so that we can both be paid.
Since there are thousands of timeshare resorts all over the world, we cannot possibly know the value of each and every one. We will, however, make an effort to contact other brokers who we feel may be more familiar with the market for your particular timeshare in order to arrive at a fair and marketable price for your week. Since it is imperative that you attract the attention of potential buyers, it is important that you list it as low as you are willing to go. If you list it high in anticipation of lower offers, your listing may be ignored in favor of a slightly lower offering.
